Midweek tennis is open for all members.
In a relaxed atmosphere matches will be
organised, mostly doubles, depending on the
number of members attending.
Play starts at 9:00 AM and will continue till
12 Noon if the energy levels allow this.
A coffee/tea break is often included in this
morning session.
On the first Wednesday of the month the
Bakers Delight Tournament takes place, this
event is sponsored by
Bakers
Delight Birkenhead.
Players will play doubles matches with points
accumulated per player.
The player with the most points after 3
matches wins the prize, a voucher to have a
Bakers Delight bag filled with an assortment
of breads at the Birkenhead branch of Bakers
Delight..
Midweek Championships
The
Midweek Championships matches are played
over a number of weeks, mostly starting
in February and depending on the weather
and availability of players will
continue until finished, which can be as
late as June.

Championships is determined by a number
